Items unacceptable as baggage:
You must not include in your baggage any of the followings:
- Items, which are likely to endanger the aircraft, other persons/property on board, such as those specified in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
- Items which is prohibited by the applicable laws, regulations or orders of any countries to be flown from or to.
- Items which are considered to be unsuitable because they are dangerous or unsafe.
- Firearms and ammunition are prohibited from carriage as baggage.

Passenger Ticket agreement and regulations:
- Transport services abide by the civil and commercial laws.
- Buraq Air Transport is fully responsible for accidents which (if any) is caused to “persons” while traveling with us and losses as well (whereby compensation is limited to the company agreement with the “Air Travel Insurance coverage” which aprox. Is set to 40,000 LD for each passenger). Buraq Air is not responsible to compensate any passenger for any said losses if the company approves that it has taken all necessary precautions to avoid any accidents/losses.
To improve the accessibility of air travel to passengers with reduced mobility, Buraq Air has set a number of guidelines to ensure that such needs are understood and provided for accordingly.
Passengers with reduced mobility are defined as those persons whose mobility is reduced due to any physical disability (impairment of any type, age, or any other cause of disability) when using transport. Such situations, needs special attention and the adaptation to the person’s needs of the services made available to all passengers traveling with our airlines.
Depending on the passenger’s condition, it may be necessary that passengers with reduced mobility prepare a medical information form (MIF) and submit it in advance for review and approval by Buraq Air. Passengers with any one of the following conditions are requested to prepare the medical information form:
- Passengers who cannot take care of themselves during the flight due to a serious sickness or injuries
- Passengers whose medical condition requires oxygen supply on board the aircraft.
- Passengers who need a stretcher or incubator on board the aircraft.
- Passengers who require an extra seat to accommodate leg elevation.
- Passengers who require the carriage and use of medical equipment on board the aircraft.
- Expectant mothers on their 8th month of pregnancy.
